I am getting a very amazing response. I was waiting for such a response for a long time. I have been working in the South Industry for a long time. The recognition I have received from Marco was pending for a long time. I am constantly getting phone calls and messages for my performance in the character of Cyrus and the film. I had not done such action till now. Even before this, my Pan India film has been released, but the recognition I have received is from this film. It has reached every street corner and crossroad. This film has made my identity special on a pan India level.
Marco Movie : It was difficult to play a dark character like Cyrus
I don’t have many fighting scenes in this film. I have a fighting sequence in the pre-climax, but it was not easy to become that violent. It was not easy for me to play this character. I have played very dark characters, but never a character like this. I watched some films to get into this character. I used to sit alone for a long time so that it would be easy for me to get into the character. It is a very dark film. The scene of killing a pregnant lady was very difficult. After that, I could not sleep for four-five nights.

Marco Movie : I visited temples to get out of the character
I have played negative characters before, but never a darker one than this. Due to which, I went to Uttarakhand immediately after the shooting of this film. There I visited many temples. Like Neem Karoli Baba and there is a Mahadev temple at a high altitude. I went there too. I was in Uttarakhand for three to four days. Along with visiting temples, I also did meditation. It took me some time to come out of this character
Marco Movie : Pan India films have a special identity
I think there are very few actors who are working on a pan India level. Till now I had not entered Malayalam films, but last year I did three films and all three were highly appreciated. I have been working in Telugu for the last 9 years. Till now I have done 70 films. I have done 8 to 9 films in Tamil. I have done two films in Marathi. I have also signed a Bangladeshi film. I am happy that people are liking me everywhere. I am getting expectations. I am getting calls from Bollywood as well. I want to do good work in Bollywood as well. I have recently completed a Hindi series in which Ahana Kumara is opposite me. My next film Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be released with South superstar Pawan Kalyan. It will be my biggest pan India film till date.
Marco Movie : I am lucky to be working with such big superstars
I consider myself lucky that at the age of 37 I am working with such big superstars. I have worked with Ajith Sir, Mammootty Sir, Kicha Sudeep Sir, Pawan Kalyan Sir. All these superstars of South are very humble. They consider you an equal. At the beginning of my career there was a film Vedalam. Ajith Sir was in it. He is a superstar of Tamil Nadu. We were shooting the film in Milan. Sir’s shoot was over. My last shot was going on. I came after finishing the scene. He had taken food in his plate. Seeing me, he immediately offered me his plate of food. He said that you take this plate of food because you have just come tired. You eat comfortably. Which superstar does this with a new artist of his film? Marco Movie: I memorize dialogues in South Indian languages
I am from Haryana and being from Haryana, it was very difficult for me to understand South Indian languages, but as they say, nothing is impossible if you want to. My first Telugu movie was Jil. I memorized every dialogue of that movie by heart. I had 22 scenes in that movie. The director sir had clearly told me that there will be no prompter for you. There will be no board. There will be no one to speak the dialogues in Hindi. You will have to memorize your dialogues yourself. I had to prove myself, so I started memorizing dialogues. Because I had worked hard in the beginning, I get its benefits now. I get the dialogues before shooting my movies. Many times I call the associate director of the movie. I ask him everything about slang, pronunciation, etc. so that I can memorize and deliver it the next day.
Marco Movie : I am from Haryana, I know how to fight
I have received the title of Stylish Villain, Pan India Actor, but this journey of a decade has been full of ups and downs. I am from Haryana, fighting is in our DNA. We can never accept defeat. We cannot give up. We do not go into depression after seeing failure. You will not get work for two-three months, but after that you get work again. I am thankful to my family. They have supported me at every step.
